Cannot open navigation control unit (37)??!!!

Hey everyone,
..I treated myself to an Audi Navi Plus for my little Ibiza. It took some work to get it installed, but it was worth it; everything works perfectly. I just have one problem: when the navigation system turns on, I get an error message that says 'TMC tuner disturbed/not found.' ... This is normal, since I don't have one connected, but you can disable it in the navigation control unit (ECU). However, I can't access the ECU. I have VAG-Com versions 3.02 and 0.81. When I go to module 37, the navigation screen sometimes flashes 'Diag.' for a second... but VAG-Com can't open the module . What could be the problem? In VAG-Com version 3.02, there's an option that says 'change baud rate etc. for newer ECUs'... I've already tried that, but it doesn't do anything!
...does anyone have any ideas??

Perhaps you should try it using a) current diagnostic hardware that is actually reliable and b) a recent version of VAG-COM.

PS: I would be happy to send you the current professional adapter for two weeks for a deposit of €330. This way, you can see what is possible with proper hardware and the latest software version. Of course, you will get your money back after returning it.

...I have a relatively inexpensive diagnostic tool (it doesn't use optocouplers or whatever they are called).
.......everything else works perfectly, I can get in everywhere without any problems .......but the navigation doesn't work !!

I managed to solve the problem myself today!
'The ISO connector with the K-line wasn't making full contact with the navigation system. I simply unplugged it and plugged it back in, and immediately I was able to access the control unit and disable the TMC tuner (I don't have one, so otherwise a silly error message appears every time I turn it on).'
