Hello,
"Today, during a check and various maintenance work, I read the following error code in the airbag control unit:"
00532 - Supply Voltage B+
07-10 - Signal too low - Intermittent.
Control unit information:
Control Module Part Number: 6N0 909 603 E
Component and/or Version: AIRBAG VW2 V00
Software Coding: 00069
Could this error possibly be related to the battery replacement that took place earlier this year?
The old battery just gave out.
After deleting the error code, turning off the ignition, turning it back on, and taking a test drive, the error did not reappear.
Thank you. VW Golf III TDI Avenue, MKB 1Z, EZ96

Opel Vectra C SW First Edition, MKB Z19DTH, EZ05

Normally, errors will disappear from the control units after a few restarts. However, with the airbag control unit, they tend to persist because it is a critical control unit. The error is definitely caused by the weak battery and the subsequent replacement at the beginning of the year. Did the warning light actually come on, or did you only discover the error when accidentally reading out the control unit?

I only found the error when reading the diagnostic data. I don't recall any persistent airbag warning lights, although they are essentially pointless on the Golf 3 anyway... VW Golf III TDI Avenue, MKB 1Z, EZ96

Then the airbags should still function even if the light isn't illuminated. I wouldn't worry about the error anymore, as it was clearly caused by the low battery voltage at the beginning of the year.

Then I'm relieved, the vehicle is currently being prepared for the summer vacation. VW Golf III TDI Avenue, MKB 1Z, EZ96
