VCDS 1507: Missing ASAM Data?

Hello,

During the diagnostic scan of my Polo, I encountered unusual error messages indicating missing ROD or ASAM data – see the attached files for addresses 03, 15, and 55.

Interestingly, the ASAM dataset that is being criticized is located just a few lines above it.

I'm writing this because VCDS is asking me to send the Autoscan data to RossTech or the distributor.

BTW: What do these ROD and ASAM data actually mean?

This is roughly equivalent to the label files, i.e., descriptions of control units, descriptions of measured values, etc.

Can I install VCDS DRV 14.10.0.0 alongside version 15.7.0.0 on my "Logtop" so that both versions are functional and don't interfere with each other?
If so, what should I be aware of?

During the installation of updates, you sometimes get prompts like "Uninstall old drivers?"
Should I then choose "do not uninstall"? Or is that option only presented when the update is installed in the same directory as the previous version?

You can leave the drivers as they are.

With this, you will no longer receive error messages on the Polo regarding missing files, and the basic LWR (Low Voltage Regulator) setting will also work .

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same problem, and I don't have access to any previous versions to test whether they work better.

My mechanic couldn't read the error code with the new diagnostic tool initially, but then he was able to read it with the older tool. The oxygen sensor was defective.
