Auto-saved file disappeared after saving

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I used Autoscan to read the diagnostic data from a Golf 4.
To save the file, I pressed "Save" instead of "Choose location."
A window popped up where I could enter the data (name, license plate, etc.). After that, I clicked "Confirm" and it was done.
A short time later, I tried to access the saved file, but it was gone.
Where did she go?
If you only click "Save," where will the file be saved?
Is it within the VCDS system itself, or on the computer?
If it's on a computer, then where?
I then ran Autoscan again to try and select the save location, but nothing happened. The "Save location" button is no longer there; only the "Save" button is visible.
Your help with this matter would be appreciated.

Using the "Search by modification date" function in File Explorer should make the file findable.
