Hello,

After replacing the blown TFL lamp (with the corresponding error entry in the body control module 09), the error memory can be cleared.
"The error message no longer appears, and the lamp is working."

Despite a clear error memory in the vehicle's onboard computer, the warning light on the instrument panel remains illuminated.

Has anyone experienced this before, or have any ideas?

Since everything is working, my plan is to first observe the situation and do nothing for now.

Best regards, Rainer.

The lamp in the linked post is actually the brake wear indicator.

Damn, you're right! What a stupid coincidence, a simultaneous failure, and then the images got mixed up. icon_confused.gif I have corrected the title accordingly.

The brake pads are still at approximately 50%, and I've just checked them all with a flashlight. Either it's fake wear or damage from a rodent, but the cables to the pads look okay at first glance.

Thank you for the information! new_all_coholic.gif

You could try testing it by creating a temporary connection with a wire in the connector of the wear sensor. In our MAN TGE (Crafter), the cable for the rear brake pads was also damaged despite being correctly routed. However, there is very little space between the rim and the saddle.

The advertisement, surprisingly, showed worn brake pads. icon_cool.gif
