The picture of you reminds me of my air orgies.
I also had my filter sawed off back then.
I didn't understand the inner workings. icon_eek.gif
Especially, after driving about 200 kilometers since the "crack" sound appeared, the tire was always completely flat.
The filter screen was always empty.

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"MFG" stands for "Mit freundlichen Grüßen," which translates to "Sincerely" or "Best regards" in English. It is a common way to end a formal letter or email.

One more, but the focus isn't very good.
I even used a vacuum pump to completely fill the diesel filter back then.
Then I clamped the fuel line to prevent any diesel from flowing back, and then I installed the pressure sensor.
The car looked like this after driving 100 km.
I repeated this procedure X times back then.
I almost doubted my own technical understanding back then.
The problem was fixed when I installed the male filter.

Those original filters made in China must have had some air leaks somewhere!

Yes, I know about those Chinese filters icon_evil.gif.
54 euros of junk.
The filter from Teileklaus is significantly better.

Nevertheless, the hose connected to the supply line is the second major hazard.
The silicone tubes are not fitting tightly enough on the filter and are being pinched by the clamp.
It's really annoying about this filter issue icon_confused.gif.
