Unlock Voice Control: RCD 510 FSE Premium

I've already read a lot today, but I haven't become any wiser.
"I installed a premium FSE (xxx model) last week. It works great with my iPhone 4s. So far, the only function I have on the steering wheel's micro-button is mute. I would like to know where I need to make changes in which control unit so that I can enable voice control for the phonebook."

I've already tried something today... In the telephone control unit, voice control is active, and in the steering wheel control unit, push-to-talk is also active. Earlier, a message briefly appeared on the dashboard indicating that voice control was active, but it disappeared without me being able to say anything. Now, that message doesn't even appear anymore. The mute function isn't working either. Basically, the button is now non-functional with the current settings.
Did I forget to reprogram the control unit?
