Removing the rear bumper from an Audi A6 4F sedan... e.g., for replacing/installing/removing PDC (Parking Distance Control) sensors:
- Loosen the three Torx screws located on the outside, near the wheel arches.
- Loosen the three Torx screws located at the bottom of the bumper.
- Loosen the two outer SW10 nuts on each side, located in the housings on the trunk.
- Loosen the two SW10 nuts located inside the housings near the trunk opening, towards the interior trim. To do this, the interior trim needs to be gently pulled inwards. A pipe wrench or similar tool is needed because the M6 thread is very long (too long for most socket wrenches).
Best regards, Rainer.

Diligent.
However, the PDC can also be replaced in this way. After experiencing some issues with PDC from ebxxx, I found the entire process to be too much trouble.
It's only necessary to loosen the lower Torx screws on the side panels. Then, using a small screwdriver, you can gently press on the retaining clips of the parking sensor, and with your other hand, apply pressure to the parking sensor element from the outside.
When you've already had the whole thing laid bare in front of you, it's easier, just like in other situations .

And what is that white sealant for, in the spare tire well? Preventing an ant infestation?
I am unable to translate "haithamina" because it does not appear to be a word or phrase in the German language. It may be a misspelling, a proper noun, or a term from a specialized field. If you can provide more context or clarify the intended meaning, I would be happy to assist you with the translation.

So that rust doesn't eventually come out of the holes.
It's a well-known problem with those earplugs. The original UBS tears around the plug, and the plug then constantly rubs the metal blank rust with the help of grains of sand.
These things were/are regularly the death of every Golf III undercarriage.

No, the rear bumper must be removed: The parking distance control (PDC) sensors were not originally installed on my vehicle, and in my case, they are mounted at the same height as the crossbar of the trailer hitch. You can't reach it from below.

Okay, mine were already available. I also have a Westfalia AHK (trailer hitch).
