Hello, after the update, I can see the status of the interface after the initial start and press the "Save" button, but the status is not being saved. I then have to go back to Settings - Connection Test - Save, and then start all over again. The status is not being saved even though everything is being recognized correctly. I have also tried uninstalling everything and completely re-downloading and reinstalling it. The same mistake, every time.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Need Help."
Best regards, Thorsten.

Was the VCDS installation folder modified from the default location? It sounds like there might be missing or incorrect user permissions when saving.

Hello, no, the folder has not been modified. The user permissions are the same as always. There is only one user on the computer, and that user has administrator rights. Windows XP Professional.
I have now uninstalled and manually deleted all the folders. Then I restarted and reinstalled. The same problem persists. "Press Save" does not work. It is not being saved.
Thorsten.

"You're right, the diagnostic cable isn't connected. Should it be plugged into the car?"
Thorsten.

Yes, it's no longer possible without it.
I think it's been like that since the fourth-to-last version; before that, it always worked without the car. MfG. Michael
