After resolving my boost pressure issue by cleaning the VTG mechanism, I'm thinking about how to integrate a simple LDA (Linear Displacement Analyzer) into the cockpit in a visually appealing way and without much effort (in a time-appropriate manner).
Therefore, integrating it into the tachometer (the red digital display built into the dial looks great, but is very complex) or using an analog display in the ventilation grille are not options.
The pre-assembled relative pressure sensor (from Motorola) with its adjustment circuit has been lying around here for a while, all that's missing is the display itself in the dashboard

'I only want to see an indication when the pressure is too high (e.g., >10% above the maximum pressure). Therefore, either a single indication (e.g., >10%) or two indications (e.g., >10% and >20% above the maximum) would be sufficient.'
I noticed the (unused by me) 'shift lever position indicator' in the FIS.
For example, one could aim for 'D' at 10% and 'P' at 20% overpressure.
At the back of the KI (instrument cluster), there is a 20-pin black connector, and pin 6 of this connector is used to control the display.
Unfortunately, I don't have a dial gauge for re-measuring.
That's why my question is:
How is this indicator controlled? Is it a resistor chain connected to ground, with the appropriate resistor selected by the selector lever?
