Vehicle/model not supported

Good day.

I've had a HEX-V2 for a few years now, which I acquired as part of a hardware upgrade. I haven't used the device much, but I wanted to get it working again because I recently acquired a new vehicle.
On my Windows 11 laptop, I have installed the latest version of VCDS (downloaded from the dieselschrauber shop).
When I run the connection test, it shows that everything is okay.

However, when I click on a control unit, I am shown a message indicating that the vehicle/model is not supported.

My vehicle is a VW T6.1 California MJ20232024.

What could be the reason for that?

If you want to help with vehicle support, a first step would be to perform a vehicle scan and post the results here.

MJ 2023 refers to models manufactured from July 2022. VCDS 23.3 should theoretically already be able to handle that. A message from VCDS indicating that data for specific control modules is not available, I would have understood. Are other control modules accessible? A car scan would be important.
Is Windows 11 playing a trick here?
Does VCDS 23.11 from Ross-Tech work (downloadable from their website, and it's in English)?

It's quite possible that it's the MJ2024. I ordered it this year in August, and it was delivered to me in early November 2023.

It is definitely the 2024 model year, because...
- the model year begins in July of the previous year, so in this case, July 2023;
- In position 10 of the VIN, an "R" is used.
