Hello,
'Recently, when I operate the window switch on my car (G3, two-door model), I've been hearing a very strange noise from the right side. Instead of moving from bottom to top, it makes a sound that vaguely resembles the tearing of fabric or the crushing of a hard plastic shell under heavy pressure.'
It only appears in the lower two-thirds of the path. It has been observed that it moves upwards in jerky steps.
I'm a bit nervous about removing the door panel without damaging anything. What should I be careful of? Do I need replacement screws, because the original ones might break off during removal (like with the rain gutter)? Is it possible that I could damage the entire panel or tear out any cables?
What kind of noise is that? Am I at risk of the window not working anymore? Does anyone who drives a G3 know about this and have any tips?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
