Hello, I could get a Sharan TDI AFN engine control unit with part number 028 906 021 CG and I want to install it in my Passat, manufactured in 1996, with AFN 028 906 021 DF. However, the original one is broken. According to VW, this one from the Sharan might not fit because the outputs are probably wired differently. Does anyone know if this is true, or if it can be reprogrammed?
