hi everyone
I'm having a small problem: when I brake normally from 120 km/h to 80 km/h, I experience significant steering wheel vibration (only when braking). However, if I brake hard, the vibration doesn't occur.
The question is, what could be the cause?
Driving an Audi 80 Avant TDI with 300,000 km on the odometer.
Maybe someone can help me.
Best regards.

Hmmm, if it were the other way around (i.e., if it happened with harder braking and not with light braking), it could be due to warped rotors, and resurfacing them might help. But since it's happening the opposite way around here, I'm not entirely sure. How old are the rotors and brake pads?
Best regards, Thorsten.

They look about 2 years old, but they're in good condition. If you run your fingernail over them, you can feel some slight scratches, but I think that's probably normal.
or ????
Best regards.
